Awaken Your Soul One Key At A Time
Piano is more than just sound- It’s vibration. It’s frequency.

Just Ducky Piano Lessons specializes in beginning and intermediate piano, offering private, one-on-one lessons once a week in 30 or 60-minute blocks. For beginning students, lessons focus primarily on learning to read notes and rhythms, developing proper hand position and posture at the piano, and beginning to develop musical expression. As students progress toward the intermediate level, lessons begin to focus more heavily on technique, musicianship, and repertoire that includes a variety of genres. Our goal is always to make lessons fun, educational, and highly encouraging, and to help each student achieve success at their own pace of learning.

Attendance
Regular attendance helps maintain momentum, supports steady progress, and creates a rhythm that builds confidence and connection over time. Your presence matters—not just at the piano, but in the practice of presence itself.
We encourage regular attendance, not from pressure, but from the joy and transformation that comes when you say yes to your musical journey.
Practice
Focused practice in the first few days after a lesson can make a big difference—boosting confidence, keeping momentum strong, and making each lesson more joyful and productive. Students who embrace a regular practice rhythm often feel more connected, more capable, and more inspired in their musical journey.
Positive Reinforcement
Learning the piano is a journey filled with small victories—and every one of them deserves to be celebrated. We all thrive on encouragement, especially when exploring something new and challenging. Rather than focusing on what went wrong, highlight what’s going right—progress, effort, and moments of musical expression. When we feel safe, supported, and seen, we become more willing to try, to grow, and to shine at the keys.
RECITALS AND PERFORMANCES
Performance opportunities are offered at least twice a year for all students. These recitals are announced well in advance and are a critical part of a student’s musical development.
While students will be nervous, and at times, reluctant to perform, they often experience a significant improvement in development as a result of preparing pieces to performance standards and playing in front of an audience. Ultimately, recitals build confidence, pride, and motivation to continue improving. Recitals are not mandatory events but are highly encouraged.

About Your Teacher:
My journey into teaching began, as many do, close to home. I first attempted to teach my own children—and quickly discovered that love doesn’t always translate into lesson plans! That experience, though humbling, lit a spark in me.
I created a Facebook page in 2019 and began sharing my desire to teach, and soon, others began to reach out. With every lesson, I’ve found joy in not just helping students learn notes and rhythms—but in helping them connect to the music within themselves. Teaching piano, for me, is an act of service, expression, and soulful connection
